The UPS Store data breach includes Baton Rouge location

  // Thursday, 21 August 2014 06:32 //

A store in Baton Rouge is one of 51 locations of The UPS Store around the country where customers may have had their credit and debit card information exposed by a computer virus.

UPS officials said the store at 17732 Highland Road was the only location in Louisiana affected by the breach.

A spokeswoman for UPS said information from about 100,000 transactions between January 20 and August 11 was exposed.

That information includes names, card numbers and postal and email addresses.

UPS is still investigating how the information was compromised.
