CROWLEY An Acadia Parish grand jury has indicted two juveniles as adults in an investigation of an attempted murder on April 26 in the 1200 block of Jacobs Avenue, Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson said Thursday.

“During the initial investigation, multiple rounds were fired into a residence which was occupied by 5 people,” Gibson said.

“Police believed at the time of this incident that the two juvenile suspects were involved, yet did not have probable cause to arrest them.”

About a week later, both suspects, ages 15 and 16, were located and discovered to be carrying concealed, semi-automatic handguns, Gibson said, and they were booked on illegal possession of firearms and other charges.
