A few minutes with ... Josh Hill
Tight end Josh Hill, who re-introduced himself to the region with a 46-yard reception Friday night against the Rams, talks about his role with the Saints and how he plans to fit in with the team this season.
The Advocate: What’s different about your second season with the Saints than the first?
Josh Hill: It’s been great because I’ve learned a lot more about the team — the guys on the team, how much they care about each other, winning, so really getting to know each other has been good.
TA: There aren’t a lot of tight ends playing special teams in the NFL. You play on four units.
JH: Yeah, it’s not something I really did in college, but I got the opportunity to play it here, and that’s how I got my ticket on the team, so I took it. I have a lot of pride in it.
