Man victim of armed robbery by Tulane campus

NEW ORLEANS -- Tulane and New Orleans police are investigating the armed robbery of a 20-year-old man Wednesday evening.

Around 11:45 p.m., the man was walking near Broadway and Green streets, a few blocks from the Tulane campus, when an armed assailant jumped out of a black SUV and ordered the man to empty his pockets, according to police.
After the victim gave up his belongings, the robber got back in the SUV and fled in the direction of St.
Charles Avenue.
The robber is described as a black man, 25-35 years old. He was driving a black SUV with silver trim near the wheel wells.
