Connick, judicial incumbents qualify in Jefferson Parish races

Four candidates have tossed their hats into the ring to run for two open seats on the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 4. Also formally

declaring his bid for re-election was Jefferson Parish District Attorney Paul Connick Jr., a Metairie Democrat.

Qualifying opened Wednesday for the November ballot and closes Friday.

In the 24th Judicial District's Division O race to replace retiring Judge Ross LaDart, the candidates are: Thomas P. Anzelmo Jr. of Marrero; John
