It's not quite a "do nothing" Congress – but it's not far off.
With only a handful of remaining legislative days on their calendar, this current Congress is on track to go down as one of the most unproductive in modern history.
There’s not much more to be said about No. 1 prospect in the country St. Augustine's running back Leonard Fournette on the field, so Saturday was as much about the yards he totaled as the character of St. Augustine’s superstar tailback.
Fournette ditched his familiar No. 5 jersey in the Purple Knights’, 33-14, Catholic League win over Shaw and donned No. 86 in honor of teammate Jordan St. Etienne, who’s mother passed away from breast cancer last week.
Lexington, Ky. -- Starting shooting guard Eric Gordon is hoping for a repeat performance from earlier this week when the New Orleans Pelicans play the Washington Wizards on Saturday night at Rupp Arena.
In his preseason debut, Gordon scored 21 points in 20 minutes during Thursday's 105-102 victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder that improved the Pelicans' record to 5-0.
After missing the first four games of the preseason to improve his conditioning, Gordon made 6-of-9 shots and 7-of-8 free throws against the Thunder.
Byhis own count, New Orleans Saints receiver Preston Parker has a "50 percent" chance to make the team's final roster.
Hisodds could be even better, however.
Parker, who signed a future's contract with the Saints in January after spending thefirst three years of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has consistentlymade plays throughout training camp and in the preseason.
Heleads all Saints receivers with six catches for 73 yards and a team-high twotouchdown receptions.
Prestonis in no mood to rest, though.
