BATON ROUGE, La. -- With his fourth consecutive complete game performance, sophomore right-hander Aaron Nola propelled No. 3 LSU (42-6, 18-5 SEC) to a 5-0 series clinching victory over No. 19 Florida (25-23, 12-12 SEC) Friday night in Alex Box Stadium.
Nola became the first Tiger pitcher to throw four straight complete games since Mike Sirotka in 1993. Nola allowed four hits and one walk while striking out three Florida batters.
In his last four outings, Nola (9-0) has allowed a combined four runs while striking out 31 opposing hitters.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- The attorney for LSU running back Jeremy Hill says a brief mobile phone video showing Hill punching another man does not show important events that precipitated the fight.
Hill was booked early Saturday with misdemeanor simple battery, which could cost the leading LSU rusher his sophomore season -- if not more. Hill already was on probation stemming from his plea of misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Hill's lawyer, Marci Blaize, says her client was heckled about his past legal trouble before the part of the fight caught on video.
Meanwhile, Baton Rouge police Lt. Don Kelly says a second unidentified suspect who knocked the man out after Hill's initial punch does not appear connected to the LSU athletic department, but

No financial terms were released for the deal, which continues through 2034.
The announcement came at a news conference attended by Slive, ESPN President John Skipper, 32 SEC coaches and each of the league's 14 athletic directors.

What the heck is going on at LSU?
The question has to be asked, and it can be argued, should have been asked a long time ago.
Jeremy Hill’s off-the-field shenanigans are only the latest in a torrent of bad publicity during the past few years of Les Miles’ tenure.
Hill, who already was on probation in connection with a 2011 arrest, was arrested Saturday for allegedly punching another man outside of a Baton Rouge bar.
Add his dustup to what turned into a season-long saga with Jordan Jefferson in 2011, the multi-year story of Tyrann Mathieu and what seems like the more than occasional failed drug test and subsequent suspension and you have to wonder about things.
Does Miles have control over his players and, more
