Veteran kicker Shayne Graham has hopscotched his way through the NFL kicking field goals for seven teams in the last five seasons with his latest journey taking him to New Orleans last season. The 36-year-old former Pro Bowler hopes he doesn't hop to another one after this offseason. The Saints re-signed Graham well before the start of free agency displaying their interest in having Graham compete for the kicking duties in 2014.
Offseason workouts opened up for the New Orleans Saints on Monday and the team decided to hold a competition in the weight room. Then something struck Saints tackle Zach Strief. "We're picking teams and we don't know half the people in the room. You're pointing at guys (he didn't know)," Strief said Tuesday at the Capital One Celebrity Shootout at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans at TPC Louisiana.
Monday was the first time Saints cornerback Champ Bailey spoke to reporters since he was signed to the team two weeks ago.
