A town hall meeting about the Affordable Care Act insurance program is planned for Friday evening in Denver with officials who represent the White House and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The public forum is from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Center at 1301 E. Colfax Ave. Starting at 4 p.m., application counselors and other personnel will provide information and assistance with enrollment, targeting the region's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
Both events are put on by The Center and One Colorado, the state's primary advocacy group for LGBT people. The programs are part of Out2Enroll, the national effort to educate the LGBT community about the Affordable Care Act and how to enroll.
Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge looked elegant in a grey Reiss jacket this afternoon as she arrived at the Shooting Star House Children's Hospice in Hampton, Middlesex for an official visit.
The royal, who is patron of East Anglia Children's Hospices, will meet staff and children with their families during the visit this afternoon giving Kate more insight into the work carried out at the hospice.
