The most popular governor in the country is Gov. Charlie Baker of Massachusetts with a job approval rating of 69%.. The least popular is Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey with a job approval rating of 18%. He has a whopping 77% disapproval.

POLITICO/Morning Consult also polled senatorial approval ratings. Sen. Bill Cassidy has a 47% approval and a 30% disapproval, placing him at 59th among the 100 senators.
Sen. John Kennedy received a job approval of 50% with 25% disapproval. His ranking places him at number 36 among the 100 senators.The most popular senator is Vermont’s Bernie Sanders at 71%. Vermont’s Patrick Leahy, Sanders’ colleague, came in second with 67%.The least popular senator is Bob Menendez of New Jersey, who is currently on trial for corruption, sitting at 32%. He is just below Arizona’s Jeff Flake, who announced he will not run again, and Kentucky’s Mitch McConnell, both at 33%.
