As the country prepares for another presidential election, Americans are learning more about the five-year effort to destroy Donald Trump. As a GOP candidate for the 2016 presidential nomination, Trump was regularly targeted by the liberal media and the Republican Party establishment.

Hillary Clinton is the gift that just keeps on giving to President Donald Trump and the Republican Party. She will not leave the political stage and continues to keep herself in the public eye. After completing a rather unsuccessful speaking tour with her husband, former President Bill Clinton, in which ticket prices were slashed dramatically to fill seats, Hillary Clinton decided to visit New Hampshire, the state with the first presidential primary in 2020.

The Republican Majority who control the House Intelligence Committee has rendered a judgment and The New York Times reported it as follows: “‘The bottom line [is] the Russians did commit active measures against our election in ’16, and we think they will do that in the future,’ Mr. Conaway, said. But, he added, ‘We disagree with the narrative that they were trying to help Trump.’” Perish the thought!

Ever since Donald Trump officially entered the presidential race on June 16, 2015, the national news media has treated him with total disdain. It has been even worse since Donald Trump was elected President as networks such as CNN and MSNBC have devoted almost their entire broadcast schedule to attacking his personality, temperament and agenda.

Donald Trump sat down with the not-quite-yet-failing New York Times to end the year with one last hurrah, via an impromptu interview. The President, among other things, told the paper not less than sixteen times that there was no collusion with Russia. Trump could save time if he ordered the phrase to be included on the Great Seal of the United States. More practical, though, and certainly more remunerative, Trump Stores could sell a “No Collusion” hat for supporters, while Ivanka Jewelry might spell it out in diamonds for those willing to rebate some of their winnings from the new Trump tax relief for the rich bill.

"All I can tell you is this, there was no collusion, there was no nothing," Donald Trump said, this time on his way to Asia. The use of a double negative, normally, is read as an affirmation, but it doesn’t matter much what Trump says about Russia. No one believes him, anymore, not even Republicans.
