Steve Bannon appeared before the House Intelligence Committee on Wednesday as part of its Russia inquiry. During his testimony, the White House, reportedly, decided what questions Bannon should, or shouldn’t, answer. The one that slipped through was Bannon’s admission that he had spoken to Reince Priebus, Sean Spicer, and legal spokesman Mark Corallo, about Donald Trump Jr.’s confounding campaign meeting in Trump Tower, with Russian actors, about the adoption of orphans –code for lifting sanctions.
“They smile in your face, All the time they want to take your place...” Ojay’s Back Stabbers
The Dow just reached 25,000, the economy is booming, and ISIS has been decimated, so of course the news media is talking about none of these stories. The latest Donald Trump frenzy surrounds the new book, Fire and Fury, which is basically a full-frontal attack on the President. The author, Michael Wolff, has a history of questionable journalism. Several of the people quoted in this book, such as former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Vogue editor Anna Wintour and close Trump friend Thomas Barrack, Jr. have totally denied making the statements the author has attributed to them.
However, one person who is not disputing any of the extensive quotes in the book is former Trump campaign adviser and White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon. The author relied on Bannon for a large part of the material in the trashy book of Trump bashing.
Donald Trump is promising that he and his Republican gang of reindeers will bestow a big beautiful Christmas gift to us all--since presumably we have been nice rather than naughty. The present? None other than a whopping oversized tax reform package, covered with beautiful ribbons, silk-wrapped and all.

There is a war going on in the Republican Party. The establishment is led by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell--those who have been denizens of the swamp for decades.
More and more, the discussion has turned to the stability of President Donald Trump.
The months of July and August have been horrendous so far for those supporting the Trump White House.. Top Trump staff such a Reince Priebus and now Steve Bannon have been canned. Sean Spicer was replaced by Mooch who certainly had no smooth sailing either. Then, the emotional controversies related to the KKK and the Nazis blew up in Trump's face, leaving observers wondering if there is any sanity remaining.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Barbarian, is back in the news. Following Steve Bannon’s walk out the White House front door a Breitbart News’ senior editor-at-large wrote that President Donald Trump risked becoming “Schwarzenegger 2.0.” It was meant to be an insult, but it shouldn’t be because “Schwarzenegger 1.0.” wasn’t such a bad thing, though it started out very oddly, indeed, as part of recall effort of Governor Gray Davis who just, months before, had won a 2nd term.
Steve Bannon is over at the White House and the future promises to be bloody. According to Axios, it appears the decision was made earlier, Bannon was informed and the resignation would go into effect today.
The question now is, who will be doing the shooting, who will be the target and if President Trump will be in the crosshairs or, with his being forced out, if his presidency will be collateral damage.
