gop nukeNorth Korea Watch: Will President Trump nuke himself and the Republican Party?

The greatest fear during the election was Trump’s suitability to nuke

What’s wrong with President Pence, or even Ryan?

Let’s see. President Donald Trump is sending love notes to the Special Counsel, Robert Mueller, who’s conducting a fake investigation into a made up deal because Mueller is doing such a good job pursuing what’s not there. As if that’s not enough, the President said, a bit ago, that Kim Jong-un, North Korea’s quixotic hereditary ruler, the guy who’s threatening to annihilate Guam, was someone it’d be an honor to meet because he’s done a good job at being a young dictator. Let’s not forget Vladimir Putin, boss of all bosses in Russia, over whom Trump fawned in the most obsequious way. Now, Putin is calling him a weakling. Ouch!

trump north korea tweetPresident Donald Trump is starting to sound like the old, once popular, jukebox record that’s been played too many times and it’s grooves are so worn more static than music comes out of the speakers. There’s no one in the U.S., above the age of reason, who hasn’t heard the President’s assertion that there’s nothing to Russia.

The Russia story is “made up,” a “witch hunt,” and “fake,” Trump says over, and over, and over again. Forget the Kremlin’s house call to the White House; Don Jr.’s strange meeting with Russians in Trump Tower, the alleged flow of foreign money, including rubles into Trump properties; Mike Flynn; and Paul Manafort. Look the other way when every U.S. intelligence agency determined the Russians interfered in the 2016 election.

opoid wallScott, not his real name, was a university graduate who worked as a graphic designer. Though young, he suffered from chronic back pain. After a while, his doctors stopped prescribing the opioid painkillers used to treat his condition for fear he’d become addicted. It was too late and Scott turned to heroin for relief. It wasn’t hard to get.

What the hell? Just hours after new Communications Director and designated curser, Anthony “The Mooch” Scaramucci, drove Chief of Staff Reince Priebus from the White house with a tirade of f-bombs and accusations of being a leaker, the most damaging Russian collusion report, yet, was leaked to the Washington Post. Bad for the “Mooch,” since he’d made leak plugging his major project.

sessions hearing2It’s the President’s own fault that Attorney General Jeff Sessions was legally required to recuse himself from all things Russia. Trump admitted that FBI Director James Comey was fired to derail the FBI’s investigation into his campaign and even bragged about it to Russian diplomats the very next day. It was a stunningly brazen, ultra vires act no matter how it’s spun.

sessions trumpAttorney General Jeff Sessions, one of President Donald Trump’s most ardent and earliest supporters, is on the chopping block because he stands in the way of Trump’s desire to end the Russian investigation headed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Sessions was well  regarded by colleagues but, unfortunately for him, gave up a senate seat he’d held for 20 years to serve the man who, now, is forcing him out after just six months in office.

ojO.J. Simpson won his freedom after convincing a Nevada parole board he was ready for release after nine years inside for robbery. The televised hearing, despite Simpson’s self-proclaimed rehabilitation, showed that he’s the same guy who vowed to spend the rest of his days searching for a killer in between golf games.

bannon“I don’t think we’re under investigation,” he said. “I’m not under investigation. For what? I didn’t do anything wrong,” Donald Trump told the New York Times. He didn’t stop there.

penceWhere does President Donald J. Trump go from here? After repeates re anything to Russia, there it stood in the doorway like an uninvited guest. Trump Sr., presently, is defending a secret meeting Don Jr., arranged with Russian agents and the President’s top election people eager for secrets. Forced by the New York Times, Jr. released an email chain that stretched from Russia’s top prosecutor to Trump Tower.
