The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company is headquartered in Akron, Ohio, where it was founded in 1898. Since that time, it has grown to be a massive corporation with operations all over the world. Today, it is the third largest tire company in the world with 63,000 employees. In addition, Americans have become accustomed to seeing one of the nine Goodyear Blimps at major sporting events across the country.
It might be time for patriotic Americans to discover a new favorite sport, professional hockey. Unlike other professional athletes, hockey players have refused to show disrespect toward the National Anthem.
At exhibition games this week, all players with the New York Rangers, New York Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers stood for the National Anthem.
Likewise, for last night’s start of the season, all the players with the Dallas Stars and the Nashville Predators stood for the National Anthem.
Americans used to be able to enjoy sporting events without being lectured about their political beliefs. It used to be a nice diversion from the pressures of everyday life. Unfortunately, those days are long gone. Today, sports are just one more area of life that has been overtaken by social justice warriors.

For example, major businesses in America are fully onboard with the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement as almost 300 top corporations have pledged support for the cause. New Orleans is a 300-year-old city, but it is on the verge of losing its unique character that made it one of the top travel destinations in the world.
The damage began in the 1990’s when the Orleans Parish School Board decided to change the name of public schools in New Orleans. Removed were names honoring George Washington, Robert E. Lee, and many others. This was done to make students feel better about their schools. Of course, it did not result in public education improving at all.
Between now and election day, we’re going to hear the word “racism”, over and over again.
In the middle of the worse economy in our lives, the worse health disaster, with record unemployment and cities shutting down again, the word that is getting and will receive a tremendous amount of attention, is RACIST.
This is what happens when you mix Donald Trump, Black Lives Matters, police, boiling anger, and upcoming elections into the same pot. From that gumbo of hostility will inevitably be the charge of Racism. Those wanting a change will pick up on the many little words, actions, and nuances and proclaim Trump to be a racist. His backers, who believe he will lead them into making America great again, will reply that the real racists are those on the other side of the separation.
