James Comey, former FBI director, was considered to be contradiction, a riddle wrapped in an enigma. Now he’s a riddle wrapped in an enigma inside a Rubik’s cube. The Justice Department’s inspector general, Michael Horowitz, today, called Comey insubordinate and called his judgment into question. There’s a lot of questionable judgment running around Washington these days, including forcible segregation of immigrant children from their parents at the border, fetes for a ruthless dictator famed for killing members of his own family, and alleged official self-enrichment that would make King Midas blush.

Apparently, it doesn’t take long for those surrounding Donald Trump to embrace and promote alternative realities.
President Donald Trump says the media is FAKE NEWS and not reporting on major news stories hurtful to Democrats, such as missing FBI text messages. Some Republican leaders and Fox News Network promote the “Deep State” is also a “Secret Society” of FBI agents planning to destroy the Trump presidency. One Republican Senator states FBI members are meeting off-site to conspire some type of Trump overthrow. Devin Nunes, the duty-bound head of the House Intelligence Committee has created a memo which almost guarantees the destruction of the FBI and Robert Mueller. They all claim the end is near, Mueller is about to go.
With the recent action by the Donald Trump Justice Department on the issue of Marijuana criminal enforcement on the mind, Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has written a letter to President Trump asking for his assistance on the new state law involving medical marijuana.
Today, New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu rebuked the Donald Trump administraton over the issue of whether the city is in full compliance with the federal immigration law. Landrieu stated that his claim of full compliance has been confirmed by the Trump administration and that New Orleans would not follow the mandates of the administration regarding sanctuary cities.
