lagop damageThe Republican Party is stating it is in active mode.

In an email just released the GOP is reminding all that there is an election tomorrow and votes are important to help John Schroder win the Louisiana Treasurer’s seat.

There has been a concern that a very low turnout could result in a victory for Democratic candidate, Derrick Edwards, who led in the primary.

Here is the narrative from the LaGOP:

We have been making calls around the clock, for the upcoming Treasurer's race; in fact we've made over 250,000 calls in just the past 2 weeks.

However, there were over 300,000 chronic Republican voters who did not vote in the October primary, that's where you come in.

We need your contributions, in order to make that final election day push. We cannot stress just how much we need your generous contributions. Republican turnout is everything!

New Orleans has the highest Democrat population in the entire state, and they are having a Mayor's race on the same day, which means Democrat voter turnout will be higher than normal.

$10 = over 100 voter calls, and $100 = over 1,000 voter calls. When you give, it enables us to beat the Democrats, both in turnout and the election!

We need a watchdog. We need someone who will stand up for taxpayers. We need small businessman and former State Representative John Schroder.

Unlike liberal Democrat Derrick Edwards, John Schroder will not be a puppet of  Gov. John Bel Edwards. He will keep the Governor, and his tax and spend policies, under check.

Help us finish strong. Give today and vote tomorrow.
