davis trump twitter 3What happened to Angele Davis and US President Donald Trump?

I did not hear a single comment or word naming the President in the recent black-targeted “Angele for Treasurer” promotion.  The election for Statewide position of  state treasurer is tomorrow.

DEM DONKYou would think Louisiana Democrats would embrace Derrick Edwards as the perfect candidate for state treasurer. But the party’s litmus test plus its aversion to looking impotent instead makes him an outcast.

At its most recent meeting, the party’s executive committee failed to endorse Edwards despite his qualifying as the only Democrat in the contest. Moreover, he ticks off two victim class boxes, racial minority and person with disability; Democrats generally allege that American society discriminates against minorities and the disabled, mandating increased government efforts to redistribute resources their way. And, Edwards seems competitive as he polls in the lead for the spot.

Democrat Derrick Edwards is leading the pack with Republican Angele Davis in second, behind by 11 points but significantly ahead of her fellow Republican competitors.

JMC Analytics was commissioned to conduct the poll.

A new poll is out on the state treasurer’s race, and it shows that most voters don’t have a clue about who is running for the statewide position.
It shows that at least 75% of respondents have never heard of the three major candidates in the race – John Schroder, Angele Davis, and Neil Riser.
