Ten players, including Saints quarterback Drew Brees, have filed an antitrust lawsuit against the NFL, seeking to prevent the owners from locking the players out.

The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court immediately after the players union desertification on Friday.

The players have asked for an injunction that would keep the league operating and stop the teams from a lockout when the Collective Bargaining Agreement expired on Friday at midnight.

The other players named in the lawsuit  are Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Vincent Jackson, Ben Lebeerm Logan Manjins, Brian Robison, Osi Umenyuora, Mike Vrabel and Texas A&M linebacker Von Williams.
