Ed StatonYou can expect Judge Susan Nelson to take two weeks to rule on the validity of the NFL's lockout of the players. Judge Nelson urged both sides to restart labor negotiations during the two weeks, but unsurprisingly, they have different interpretations of that. The owners still refuse to talk so long as the courts have control over the NFL. During Wednesday's proceedings, Nelson peppered the owners' lead attorney with 64 questions, compared to 14 for the rest of the lawyers present combined...

Fox Sports' Adam Caplan doesn't believe the Broncos will consider LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson with the No. 2 draft pick. Peterson was once viewed as a potential target of Denver, but all signs are now pointing toward the Broncos taking Alabama defensive tackle Marcell Dareus. Dallas would surely give Peterson a long hard look at No. 9, but he's unlikely to fall past the 49ers at No. 7. Peterson has yet to say if he'll attend the NFL Draft in New York City...

Former John Curtis and USC running back Joe McKnight could rise as No. 2 on the Jets' depth chart, surpassing LaDainian Tomlinson. McKnight matured throughout his rookie season, and he offers more speed than LT in a change-up role behind Shonn Greene. Tomlison would play only on third downs...

A star-studded, one-of-a-kind autograph party highlights Saturday’s list of pre-game activities as LSU hosts its National L Club Spring Game in Tiger Stadium.

The autograph party, featuring numerous All-Americans and both past and current Tigers in the NFL, will take place starting at 1 p.m. in Lot A at Tiger Stadium.

A commemorative autograph poster, featuring all 58 LSU All-Americans will be given away to fans at the autograph session. In order to accommodate everyone, fans are asked to only have one item for the autograph session.

“This is a one-of-a-kind event,” LSU assistant athletic director for marketing Craig Pintens said. “To be able to assemble this many former All-Americans and NFL players in one setting is a tribute to what LSU football means to these guys. We are trying to grow our spring game into a day-long event, one where the entire family can come out and really experience all of the things unique about LSU. We think this is a great opportunity to come out with your family and enjoy a great day on the LSU campus capped off with a preview of the 2011 Tigers.”

Kickoff for the National L Club Spring Game is set for 3 p.m. Admission to the game is free and fans can enter Tiger Stadium through Portal A on the west side of the stadium or through gates 10 and 11 on the east side. Gates open at 1 p.m.
