NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will announce the first-round picks in next week's draft, but the league has announced that it's doing something different on the second day of the draft: Bringing in retired players to announce the picks. Willie Roaf will announce the Saints' selection. Former Saint and Packer Jim Taylor will announce Green Bay's pick, Marshall Faulk of New Orleans will announce the Rams' selection and Aeneas Williams of New Orleans will announced the Arizona pick. A list of former players taking part: Atlanta, Jessie Tuggle; Baltimore, Peter Boulware; Buffalo, Andre Reed; Carolina, Brad Hoover; Chicago, Richard Dent; Cincinnati, Anthony Munoz, Cleveland, Paul Warfield; Dallas, Charles Haley; Denver, Shannon Sharp.
