New Orleans's tradition, Galatoire's reopens in Baton Rouge with a soiree

galatois2Bistro in Baton rouge opens Wednesday night featuring a 150-seat dining room with two separate private dining spaces that can seat 32 guests or be combined for a large celebration of 64 guests.

 

 

The new 40-seat patio offers “al fresco” dining throughout the year, or guests can enjoy a cocktail and dinner in the Galatoire’s Bistro bar.

 

The New Orleans tradition returns to Baton Rouge, moving to a more central location and closer to the business district and LSU university.  Galatoire’s Bistro will serve dinner nightly at 5:30 p.m. with the bar opening at 3:30 p.m. Daily lunch and weekend brunch service will begin Friday, Jan. 25, at 11 a.m. Galatoire’s Bistro is accepting reservations for lunch and dinner now. The restaurant is owned by a group including New Orleans businessmen John Georges and Bill Kearney.
