stacy-head-adNew Orleans City Councilmember Stacy Head, who is running for Councilmember At Large in the March 24th election, will open her Campaign Headquarters Saturday,March 3rd at 11 a.m. The Campaign Headquarters is located at 4510 Freret Street.

"We are proud to be opening our headquarters on Freret Street," said Councilmember Head. "The rebirth of Freret Street is a classic example of what residents, business owners and government can accomplish working together toward a common goal. If elected Councilmember At Large, I will work to revive economic development corridors in neighborhoods across the city that will bring jobs and much needed services closer to where residents live," Councilmember Head explained.

Councilmember Stacy Head was endorsed this week by the New Orleans Coalition. Other endorsements include the Independent Women's Organization, the Forum For Equality and the Regular Democratic Organization. The Head team is pleased that the New Orleans Coalition, a diverse organization of progressive citizens, chose to add their voice to the growing number of organizations supporting Stacy’s candidacy. The New Orleans Coalition's vote is another indication that our campaign is gaining acceptance by more citizens every day.

"We are also reaching citizens across the City through dozens of community meetings and church visits from Algiers and New Orleans East to Treme and Central City" said Angela Young, faith-based coordinator. "Every day Councilmember Head is growing in her knowledge and understanding of diverse community needs," Young said.

The election for the City Council At Large is Saturday, March 24th.  Early voting will take place from Saturday, March 10 through Saturday, March 17.  For more information visit the Stacy Head website.(www.stacyhead.com)
