jeffcrouere_150_200Christine O’Donnell, the winner of the Delaware GOP primary on Tuesday night, has become the latest in a long line of Tea Party candidates to have success this election season.

The Tea Party movement has changed the face of politics in America over the past 20 months. The Tea Party represents the anger of the American people with the political status quo and a real desire for true change.

Not surprisingly, the Republican political establishment is apoplectic about the upstart political movement infringing on their territory. So called experts like Karl Rove are claiming that O’Donnell and other Tea Party can’t win and the GOP should accept liberal Republicans like Mike Castle. This view is just plain wrong for the GOP has been accepting RINO’s for too long.

The problem is that these RINO’s have given the country massive deficits, more government, high taxes and open borders. They have been partners with the Democrats in much of the failed legislation that has seriously harmed this nation.

As a result, the American people are ready to fire those responsible for the mess we are in; they are ready to try the Tea Party.

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin understands what is happening. She knows that a tidal wave of change is sweeping across America. In fact, Palin is one of the few real leaders of the Tea Party movement. She has used her celebrity to help many of the Tea Party candidates running in the Republican primaries. In the process, she has bucked the GOP establishment and created enemies. Nevertheless, in almost every instance, Palin has won and the country club Republicans have lost.

Today, Palin is the biggest fundraising draw and the most popular figure in the Republican Party. Every GOP candidate wants Palin to appear at their fundraiser.

As a result, Palin is helping many candidates this election season, but she is also looking toward her political future. This weekend, Palin is appearing at a Reagan Dinner in Iowa, the home of the first Republican caucus in 2012. She is clearly testing the waters for a possible presidential race.

While national polls show Palin behind Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and Newt Gingrich, she must be viewed as one of the frontrunners. No other GOP leader has been as vocal as Palin in supporting the Tea Party movement. No one else has risked their political capital on so many Tea Party candidates.

Palin has the backbone to stand up to the media elite, the establishment of the Republican Party and her critics. She is a proud conservative and will not deviate from her views to curry favor with the RINO’s who control so much of the Republican Party.

She represents a great chance to overthrow the old guard of the GOP and start fresh with a whole new line-up of leaders aligned with the Tea Party movement.

In election after election, Palin has demonstrated her political power. With her trip to Iowa this weekend, it seems that Palin might be ready to capitalize on this power and turn her sights toward the ultimate prize, the White House.
