PAR Guide to the Louisiana legislature
The Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana (PAR) is now accepting pre-orders for its PAR Guide to the 2012 Louisiana Legislature. The Guide is a useful, pocket-sized booklet filled with key information about Louisiana's legislators, state elected officials and agencies. Order forms are available here. Guides will be shipped in early March.
The 2012 edition includes biographical information and photographs of Louisiana's legislators, statewide elected officials and congressional delegation. It includes current contact information for the state's elected officials as well as their committee assignments. The Guide features information on legislators' term limits and their sources of income and occupations.
PAR also will be selling iPhone and Android applications for the 2012 Guide to the Legislature this spring. More information on the app will be available soon at the PAR website.
The Guide is printed on an annual basis with updated information published on PAR's Web site (www.la-par.org) throughout the year. Underwriting support for the paper guide is provided by CLECO. The guide phone application is underwritten by AT&T.
PAR members will receive a free copy of the printed Guide to the 2012 Louisiana Legislature. Others may order copies for $10 each plus tax and shipping. Substantial price breaks are available for large orders.
