Will someone tell President Donald Trump to stop lying about John Bel Edwards and the Louisiana budget.

We watch Trump on TV. We hear him on the radio. He rants that John Bel Edwards broke his “sacred promise” to people of the State of Louisiana and raised taxes.

What he fails to say in the commercial are the words, Bobby Jindal.

Nothing has changed, so nothing should change, despite the histrionics of the Gov. John Bel Edwards Administration.

Last week, Louisiana’s Revenue Estimating Conference met again with an attempt to update forecasting numbers on revenue. The figures produced get fed into the budget process, with Democrat Edwards’ executive plan for state spending in fiscal year 2020 due in about ten days.

Did Governor John Bel Edwards and Jay Dardenne last week when play the "Nursing Home" Scare Card when they sent out notices to nursing home residents warning them of possible evictions.

It surely made a lot of noise and news in Louisiana and nationally as if the ceilings were collapsing on those least able to take care of themselves. Or, at least, that is what many of the Republicans and Conservatives are saying across the state. 

This was the topic of discussion in part two of the video interview with John Kay, Louisiana director of the Americans for Prosperity, a national conservative group.
