Ok, it's Friday afternoon, a big news day, and time to sound off.

So, Donald Flynn is in—the hands of Robert Mueller, the special counsel. No matter how the Trump loyalists want to spin it, this is horrible news for the Trump administration.

When I say spin, that is exactly what I am seeing.

Here is just one sample of a tweet that is on point, from chief apologist, Jeffrey Lord.

With President Donald Trump hours away from a major victory in the US Senate on the issue of tax reform, the full court press to defeat it or pass it, is on.

No doubt,  the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry supports tax reform and, in general, the key legislation coming out of the House of Representatives.  Supporting or taking positions on various state and national legislative instruments is what LABI does along with providing other services key to its members and the community. 

Today, Donald Trump is meeting with the US Senators to discuss working together to pass legislation such as tax reform.  Putting substance aside for a second, the President opened the morning discussion online with a twitter flourish with one of his new favorite nemesis, Republican Congressman Bob Corker:
