With election day down the track, less than a half-year away, what’s Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards going to do?
Attorney General Jeff Landry has achieved a significant win in the ongoing three and half-year battle between the Democrat Edwards and the Republican Attorney General.
In a bold move, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed the pro-life legislation known as the “fetal heartbeat” bill. This will protect the life of an unborn baby after a heartbeat is detected, approximately six weeks after conception.
As a result of this move, much of Hollywood has erupted in anger and is threatening a boycott of the state. The good people of Georgia should say “good riddance” to these lunatic liberals who want to impose their progressive ideology on the rest of America.
As might be expected, President Donald Trump, his attorneys, his political party the Republican Party, his son, his admirers and perhaps one-third or more of the country believes that Robert Mueller spoke, said nothing new and so it is time to move on.
Today it was Mueller Time's time in the barrel.
Finally, we discover that Robert Mueller really does have a voice. He's not just some guy walking down some federal hallway. And, his voice, as I always thought would be an honest one.
By tweet, President Donald Trump, after Robert Mueller’s first public appearance since being appointed Special Counsel, said:
As almost the entire Congress left Washington D.C. for the Memorial Day holiday, a pork barrel package of “disaster relief” was getting ready to be approved. The price tag for the bill reached $19.1 billion and it included aid for hurricane ravaged areas in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Puerto Rico, as well as flooding relief for states such as Iowa and Nebraska. In an almost empty House chamber, one member, appropriately from the “Lone Star” state of Texas, U.S. Representative Chip Roy (R-TX) objected to the unanimous consent that was necessary.
Next Tuesday New Orleans businessman Gary Landrieu officially joins the race for Governor of Louisiana. Landrieu, who has previously run for U.S. Congress as a Democrat, changed his party identification to Independent. Currently, there are 1.3 million Democrats, 900,000 Republicans and over 775,000 Independent voters in Louisiana. The fastest growing segment of the electorate in the past year has been Independent voters.
I am convinced that recent developments in the Trump Russia controversy have further tarnished the reputations of Attorney General Bill Barr, the national Republican Party and specifically, the conservative Freedom Caucus.
Instead of trying to get to the truth about the results of a critical investigation, all three have joined together for partisan reasons to prevent information flow we need to understand our past. Yet, they loudly demand that all stones be unturned to investigate the investigators )in a probe I do hope gets to the whole truth).

As Vice President Pence QUIETLY CATNAPPED through the State of the Union Address on Feb. 5, Donald Trump declared, “We will never be a socialist country.”
Fast forward to May 13 (that’s the day before yesterday and barely three months after that SOTU declaration.
Trump ramps up his trade war with China, imposing new tariffs on Chinese imports that he claims will bring money into the U.S. treasury when, in fact, the proposed tariffs only mean that U.S. consumers will be paying more for goods from China.
The 2020 presidential election started on the night Donald Trump was elected President of the United States. Since that night, Democrats and their allies in the media have been working tirelessly to undermine his agenda and harm his standing with the American people.
The Mueller investigation was a bogus two-year effort to sabotage President Trump and drive him from office. Fortunately, the scheme has not worked and most congressional Democrats realize that impeachment is unlikely and political unpopular.
It’s getting “Curiouser and curiouser!” for sure. And, I’m absolutely believing that in this Alice and Wonderland world of Trump era politics that “we’re all mad here” already, so nothing should shock any of us, ever.
Still, I’m not quite sure how else to explain it.
