Just when you think it can’t possibly get more bizarre with this POTUS….it does.
Leaving on Christmas night, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump made a surprise visit to American troops serving in Iraq. It was a trip that made a very positive impact on the troops, who warmly greeted the President and Mrs. Trump. Not surprisingly, the visit drew criticism from the liberal media because some of the troops displayed “Make America Great Again” hats and asked the President to sign them. Of course, the same liberal media said nothing when then President Barack Obama signed his picture for our troops.
Isn’t it interesting?
Some of the same people who excoriated President Barack Obama for pulling the troops out of Iraq are now either silent or are applauding President Trump’s yanking our military out of Syria, immediately. Oh, and soon, out of Afghanistan.
Back then, Trump led the charge. Every opportunity, he blamed Obama for taking steps that were feckless and weak
In November of 2016, the American people elected Donald Trump to be our nation’s 45th President. He campaigned on a platform of bringing our troops back home from Syria and Afghanistan and focusing on an “America First” foreign policy. By announcing he was removing our 2,000 troops from Syria, the President is following through on another campaign promise.
The Louisiana Democratic Party, slammed Republican Congressman Ralph Abraham's decision to not vote in favor of the criminal reform bill that was approved this week in Congress and is expected to be signed into law. The Democrats noted that Abraham did not vote for the legislation backed by the president and by members of the Louisiana delegation. Here is the Democrat's comments and Abraham's Facebook post on the criminal justice reform and below that is the comments made by the Louisiana governor John Bel Edwards::
The politicians in Washington D.C. have failed the American people time and time again. This is especially true on the important issue of border security. The “Deep State” in Washington D.C. does not care that our country has possibly 30 million illegal immigrants. While there has been inaction on the glaring problem of border security, Congress has tried numerous times over the years to make it easier for illegal aliens to enter the United States and become American citizens. It took a massive effort of grassroots conservatives to defeat “immigration reform” legislation during the presidency of George W. Bush.
Last night, the controversy surrounding President Donald Trump, Robert Mueller and his pick for Attorney General got more confusing and more combative.
Here are the details:
Should Vietnamese who came into the United States, fleeing communist control and devastation of Vietnam or other circumstances prior to the resumption of diplomatic relations in 1995 be subject to deportation?
The Trump administration says yes and claims that the focus is upon certain Vietnamese who have committed violent crimes, but appears to be interpreting current law to expand the population of Vietnamese who might be eligible for deportation.
For months, the media and Democrats have been championing the cause of the migrants marching toward the U.S. border. These caravans were supposedly about good, hard working migrants just looking for job opportunities in the United States and fleeing oppressive governments. In reality, the caravans have been a melting pot of different agendas. While some are truly looking for opportunities, others are scam artists.
Any American who follows the news coverage of President Trump knows that the mainstream media is completely opposed to him. Their coverage of his administration is biased, relentlessly negative and needlessly nasty. These haters could not even take a break from their Trump bashing during the funeral of former President George H. W. Bush. Liberal activists, masquerading as journalists on MSNBC and CNN, criticized the President for folding his arms during the service and not singing from the hymnal like the other former Presidents. This pettiness is typical from a media that is afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome.
It is so awful that the watchdog group Media Research Center found the broadcast network news programs gave President Trump 95% negative coverage, worse than any President in the history of television.
