President Donald Trump, according to a variety of articles hitting the Internet ,is trying to help a Chinese telecom company ZTE in a controversial move given his prior statements about the Chinese’s business practices. The problem with this mystery transaction is that it might, and I say might, be totally unethical, if not, unlawful.

This continues the trend from the final quarter of 2017, when 91% of the Trump coverage was negative.

For African Americans and Hispanics, the unemployment rate is now the lowest ever recorded. In April, 164,000 nonfarm jobs were added to payrolls surpassing a 135,000 increase in employment in March. Among the sectors to perform well in April were construction which added 17,000 new jobs and manufacturing employment which surged by 24,000 jobs.

According to two Louisiana politicos, political writer Christopher Tidmore and pollster and analyst John Couvillon of JMC Polling and Analytics, right now, it's doom and gloom time at the not-so-ok GOP corral. 

Yet, we know that mid-term elections are six months away. Based upon the 2016 elections, one can never say "never" in the age of Trump. Still, as the present is precursor to the future, judging by Couvillon's and Tidmore's view of the national political landscape, there could be plenty of cursing and blaming among the ranks of Republicans, this November coming.
